Simple Plan was created when Lianne Owen and her family began looking for their new home in Westport, CT. After exploring the many options available to them, she took the ambitious leap to design and build her own family home.

Westport is a town that offers an array of beautiful historic and modern homes, and is renowned for being a community that cultivates art and creativity. As a place that already fully embraces creative innovations and experiments with style, it was the perfect setting to build a new home which would include modern design trends from across the US, and around the world.

After a ten year career in London licensing children’s publishing and TV characters, Lianne moved to NYC and joined one of the largest real estate firms in a residential new development sales team.

Back from taking a break to be with her three children, Lianne set up Simple Plan HB as a development firm designing and building luxury, modern family homes bringing her own experience of building her family home, and offering a unique perspective on the design process.

Lianne also heads LO + Team at Coldwell Banker in Westport. This full service real estate sales team is always available and ready to share their expertise with both buyers and sellers.
